Microlumbia’s consulting team works with organizations to identify and design consulting projects for delivery by Columbia MBA students. We work closely with management to understand the underlying business issue and design a project with well-defined deliverables.  Projects are typically four months in duration and coincide with the fall (September through January) or spring (February through May) semesters to ensure that students are available to deliver the project.

After Microlumbia and the client have scoped the project, a team of MBA students from Columbia Business School is selected to deliver it.  The students are selected by Microlumbia through an application process that matches them to projects based on their past work experience, skills, and interests.

The team of students is responsible for all the deliverables. Each team is led by a Project Manager to ensure that deliverables meet client needs, objectives, and internal quality standards.
