Shirin Jamshidi

 Ms. Shirin Jamshidi is a Director of Investments on the Asia/Middle East North Africa team in the Mission Transaction Unit of the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC).

Ms. Jamshidi has over 14 years of experience across various fields, including finance, strategic planning, and management consulting. Previously, she was a Senior Investment Officer for the Development Credit Authority Office at the U.S. Agency for International Development. Before joining the U.S. government, Ms. Jamshidi was a management consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton, supporting the U.S. Army and Navy for the development of large-scale renewable energy projects. During her graduate studies, Ms. Jamshidi worked for the Structured Finance Team at Credit Agricole Bank’s North America office. Ms. Jamshidi co-authored the article "Financial Hedges in Merchant Power Project Finance” for the 2016 issue of the Journal of Structured Finance.

Ms. Jamshidi has a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from University of California, San Diego, and a Master's of International Affairs in Global Energy Policy and Finance from Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs.
