Applications for Spring Semester 2024 are closed.

Students will have an opportunity to apply for (1) Investment Associate, (2) General Member, and (3) Vice Presidents / Assistant Vice Presidents roles later in the semester.

  • Application Opens: January 30, 2024

  • Anyone interested in joining must submit an application with a preference for one of three membership types (general member, investment associate, or AVP/VP). Interviews will be conducted for all Investment Associate and AVP/VP applicants, with final decisions made by mid-February.

  • Microlumbia consists of three membership options: (1) General Members, (2) Investment Associates, and (3) AVP/VPs.

    General members will be included on all club-wide communication about education and social events. They will also receive periodic updates on the fund’s activities. : Investment associates will be called on to help source and diligence potential investments for the fund. AVPs/VPs will help lead various elements of the club’s operations (management, events, education, alumni relations, fundraising, impact measurement, etc.).

  • Any current first- or second-year MBA (August or J-term) and EMBA student. Due to limitations with our operating structure, we do not accept applications from other Columbia programs (undergrad, SIPA, SUMA, etc.). However, students may submit a note on the “Contact Us” page to be included in future communications and community-wide events.
